Is Ashford University's acredidation as high as Harvard univeristy?
Accreditation does not work in terms of ranking or a specific hirearchy. Harvard has been reigionally accredited by New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Commission on Institutions of Higher Education, since 12/1/1929. The New England Association's information can be found at http://www.neasc.org/ Ashford University is accredited by one of the 6 regionally accrediting bodies. The only reason why one school would be accredited by one regionally accredited body as compared to another, is because of geographic location of the school. Each regionally accredited body is responsible for specific states for which to provide accreditation. Ashford University is accredited since 1/01/1950 by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges. Harvard is JUST as accredited as Ashford, and the other way around.
