I live in Hou,TX and I had cricket for 3 years before I switched to T-Mobile. Let me tell you what cricket does to people. For 6mo my bill was $65. I had the $60 plan plus $5 insurance. The plan consisted of unlimited everything with added 200 min of roaming, caller id and 3-way and infinite call to Mexico and Canada. Now when I hit the 6mo mark, I paid at the machine at cricket and it showed my bill for the 7mo. Tell me why my bill doubled to $120. That was my next month bill. I had to call customer service and it turned out my bill got mixed up with somebody else. Now 2yrs later around the end when I had two phones on my account for $50. I had done this because of a special they had at the time when I did it. I had to buy a new phone for it to work, but that was all good. So my bill was $60 because of insurance on two phones. I didn't have the free roaming minutes so I go to purchase some as we leave Houston to go to Dallas. (Since there isn't even a cricket in Dallas, they don't even know what that is) We come back and my phone is messing up. I got calls and pic messaging and that's it. The other phone just doesn't work at all. I go up to cricket and they tell me I only have one phone on and its the $25 plan. Talk and Text. Not talk and Pic Text, which is what I have. Turns out that the person who was doing my roaming messed up my phone and canceled my 2 phones for $50 plan. That was it. 2mo later my phone starts to break down and I just switched over to T-mobile. I can get everything that cricket was offering at only $60 a month. No extra for insurance or anything and I got the Sam. Memoir, a touch screen phone which cricket had none of.
Also, my mom's boyfriend has cricket and he's been paying the regular $40 for the plan he has, then all of a sudden his phones cuts off. His bill of $112 is paid. Cricket tells him that another phone on the $40 plan was added. Now to add another phone you have to be at least 16 and have the social num. of the main person owning the phone, and if math is correct 40+40 does not = 122.

I Believe That Cricket Is Better! But Yuh May Think Dat Boost Is Better But Cricket Is Better If U Cheap.. And Boost Cost More.

Well i would go with boost mobile because it has a better coverage map than cricket wireless... also the plans for boost mobile are cheaper and have a radio service included

In my opinion, yes, cricket is better than boost mobile. It has better services and bonuses than boost mobile. Cricket has a better name too in my opinion.
