Eisenhower is featured on the US Dollar coin from 1971-1978. There were regular circulated clad coins minted each year except 1975 when two years of bicentennial coins were minted for 1976. There were also business strike silver coins minted each of those years known as "blue packs" and special proof coins encased in packaging called "brown boxes".

Also, each deceased US President will be, or has been, featured on the US $1 coin. Dwight D. Eisenhower, our 34th President will be featured on this special coin in the year 2015.

No. Dwight D. Eisenhower, the 34th President of the United States, appeared on the last of the large-sized US dollar coins from 1971 through 1978. John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States, appears on the US half dollar.

Dwight d Eisenhower is on the silver dollar minted from 1971-1978. While known as the "silver" dollar, the coins struck for general circulation were in fact nickel clad. There were actual silver Eisenhower coins struck, but they were not for circulation. There were both business strike silver coins packaged in blue envelopes and silver proof coins in brown boxes.

He has been and will be again, though he's not on any that is being minted/printed currently.

Eisenhower appeared on the large format "silver" dollars in the 1970s. He is also scheduled to appear as part of the presidential dollar coin series in 2015.
