Yes, Alphonse Elric is indeed right-handed. In the episodes with flashbacks to Ed and Al's training on Yock island, Al is seen using a hunting knife and fishing spear in his right hand. Then, even after Al has lost his body, he is seen writing with his right hand (Episode 7 Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - so this is also true in the manga - and episode 18 of the 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist series). I'm sure there are also more instances where he writes, but there ya go!

∙ 12y agoNo, he is ambi-dexterous in fights but writes with his left hand. Most likely because his right hand is automail, it may make handeling writing utensils difficult.
