I don't know if Michael Jackson was a fan of Selena but i know Selena and her siblings grew up listening to the Jackson 5 (it was said in the DVD :"Selena remembered")...so she was aware of him and his music but i don't think he was aware of her or her music... He could have been aware of her murder & story...it's unknown!
