We will have to see him in action before making any sort of judgment on him, fans thought David Tennant would be awful before he took over full time and look how much people loved him in the end.

∙ 11y agoThis is a tricky question due to the fact that the answer is merely a person's opinion. Matt Smith is very animated and goofy, beyond how David Tennant was. Matt Smith also brings a childish glee to The Doctor which hasn't really been seen in the remake of the show before.
