I got it to work on a Dell XPS One with Vista Home Premium.
But you will need to get a copy of file MSVCR70.DLL and paste it in the Picture It 7 program folder.
Otherwise, you'll get an error and program won't start.

∙ 14y agoAbsolutely! In fact, all programs that worked with Vista (which includes Office 2003) will easily work on Windows 7. Just for future reference, many old Windows programs will work on Windows 7. I can still play some old Windows 95/98 games on my Windows 7 computer and they play perfectly!

∙ 14y agoYes and But... Yes, you can run it in compatibility mode "windows xp sp3", but some important features are missing. "Clone Painting" and "Soften Edges" are mysteriously gone. It seems that Windows 7 does not allow some of these older dll's to register or run. That's a pity, because this program is fantastic!

∙ 10y agoThat question is a bit difficult to answer. Both are operating systems, which can only be run one at a time per machine. So, the question of 'compatibility' cannot be answered. If you mean can your current PC or laptop run Windows 7, then you would need to check your hardware specs against the Windows 7 system requirements as outlined by Microsoft at (link moved to related link)
