Why does Ronnie James dio and Ozzy osbourne hate each other?

actually, depite popular beleif Ronnie James Dio and Ozzy Osbourne are very close. Ozzy was crushed by Dio's passing calling him " one of the greatest voices heavy metal has ever seen.

NO. Definately not, in fact they actually seem to hate each other. Ozzy's early tours included midgets which Ozzy called Dio midgets.

Dio refused to go on a tour with black sabbath and Ozzy where each singer would sing some songs together with sabbath and Dio refused. No, listen to some interviews on You Tube, Dio really didn't like it when Sabbath got back together with Ozzy for the Reunion tour.

I would say yes to the degree of a friendship of respect when they see each other. They are both iconic and legendary to the degree that no other act will accomplish what they have. As far as them going out to the movie together and knocking a few back in this day and age i doubt it. Ronnie is going through cancer treatment for stomache cancer and Bruce is a airline pilot, Steve lives in Europe and he plays futball, Niko like in Boca Raton Florida kicking back. I am sure back in the early 80s they prob tore a hotel apart together but that's about it.

dio replaced Ozzy in black sabbath when Ozzy went off to pursue his solo career. when dio performed with sabbath he did not do any Ozzy songs and when Ozzy came back he did not do any dio songs. Ozzy has acknowledged that he admires dio's singing voice and feels bad about his recent death.
