most people say it is. however, the reason why they call it a scam, it's because of the false advertisement. satellite direct tv advertised that their channels are live around the world but unfortunately the channels that you'll be getting are pre-recorded which is true to all satellite tv for PC.
some says it doesn't work. the reason why it doesn't work for them, it's because they have a slow internet connection. one of the requirements of a satellite tv for PC for it to work smoothly is to have a more than 1mbps of high speed internet connection.
