No, England is one of the three countries that make up Great Britain, the other two are Scotland and Wales.

Britain is England, Scotland and Wales.

Wrong way round. England is part of Britain. The full name of the country, as approved by the United Nations, is 'The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland' which is comprised of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Answer The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is made up of: England Scotland Wales Northern Ireland. Many people say "England" when they really mean "The United Kingdom." Some people in Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland find this offensive as it appears to ignore their existence, and is like saying "Texas" when you really mean "The United States of America."
Not exactly. Britain is comprised of England, Scotland and Wales. When Northern Ireland is added, the country then gets its full title of 'The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland', which is how it is represented at the United Nations. Citizens of these four places are British in international law.

England is not in America. They are approximately 3,000 miles apart, and England was around centuries before the United States had ever been spoken of.

Also England belongs to the United Kingdom, made up of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and it has it's own parliament and leader.

England is across the ocean.
