No the car and truck motor mount holes are in a different location, Will not bolt up.
I don't see why not they were the exact same car from1995 thru 1999.
if it is the same motor yes, but some may have different mounts or wiring plugs
No they do not have the same motor.
The 1997 and 1999 Chevy Cavalier transmissions are exactly the same. The transmissions, transmission linkage, and transmission mounts are identical.
as long as the transmissions are the same yes but there may be a wiring difference as well as cv joint size difference
2.2 and a 3.1 both will work but you will need to keep the same transmission with the same motor so thay will match up
Well yes and no. Both have a 2.2 four cylinder if I'm not mistaken, but I don't think the earlier Cavalier's have the EcoTec motor. And you should be able to get the engine from the '03 into the '97 with no problem.
yes it will if it is a 2.0 2.4 22 ran the same stuff in 2002 they started the eceo tech moter
You can swap the engine from your 1997 Cavalier 2.2 liter engine to your 2000 Chevy Cavalier. The wiring harness and motor mounts should be in exactly the same.
No, Car and truck bolt patterns are not the same, never have been.
yep its the same size engine bay as long as you got motor and transmission ur good
As long as it is the same displacement. Liters/cid. It should
