If by "Civic transmission" you mean a D-series transmission then no, it is not compatible with the B-series engine. If the Civic has a B-series transmission then, oviously, it will work. All 5-speed B-series transmissions are compatible with all B-series engines.
Is it an automatic or manual transmission? If its a manual trans its under the clutch pedal.
how do i replace a transmission sensor switch on a 2001 l-series saturn
Check saturnfans.com forums under the SL or post the question.
Many of the Saturn L series automatic transmissions do not have a dipstick. They are the "new breed" of transmissions that are SUPPOSED to be trouble free. When you take it in to have the transmission serviced they will make sure it is filled and not leaking. Other than that, follow the instructions in the owners manual and have the transmission serviced (oil and filter changed) according to the schedule in the book.
What transmission cap? The question makes no sense.
No. Only a s-series saturn with a manual trans can be pulled behind an rv with all four wheels on the ground. Doing this with an auto trans risks serious damage to the transaxle.
There is a screw-in plug on the side of the transmission. Saturn transmissions do not have a dipstick since they are supposed to be a "sealed" unit.
6.9 quarts , fill it until fluid comes out the fluid check plug , which is adjasent to the oil plug.Car should be warm and in drive.
