No. First of all, cougars grow up to 7.5 feet long, and weigh up to 260 pounds. They also have a long tail.

Bobcats grow up to four feet long, and can weigh approximately forty pounds. Bob cats have a naturally bobbed tail (Hence the name Bob Cat).

No, the bobcat (Lynx rufus) and panther (Puma concolor) are entirely different species. The adult bobcat at around 20 to 30 pounds is much smaller than a 100 to 250 pound panther. 'Panther' is one synonym for the cat known as the 'mountain lion' in North America. Other names for the mountain lion are painter, cougar and puma. There are Asian and African panthers, too.

No, they are completely different animals. A mountain lion, also known as a cougar or puma is much larger than a bobcat, and has a long tail while a bobcat has tufts of hair sticking from his ears and has a short tail.

To which species of panther were you referring? The bobcat is not a member of the panther genus. They are only distantly related.
