Best Answer

cc ( cubic centimetre: cm3 ) = ml ( milli litre:10-3litre )

Explanation:

basics: 1000 litres = 1 m3

now,

1 cc = 1 (cm)3

= 1 (10-2 m )3

= 10-6 * m3

= 10-6 * 1000 litres ( refer above basics )

= 10-6 * 103 litres

= 10-3 litres

= milli litres ( ml )

1 cc = 1 ml

Yes. A cc (cubic centimeter) and a mL (milliliter) are equal to each other in terms of volume.

Technically, 1 ml is the volume of 1 gram of water at 4 degrees C. A cubic centimeter, on the other hand, is defined by length which in turn is defined by atomic vibrations. It works out that they're the same to many decimal places -- enough for almost all laboratory work.

In medical literature, the milliliter is the preferred measure of volume rather than cc, and most syringes are labeled in ml.
