Absolutely not. Gerbils are highly territorial and you cannot even introduce a lone adult to a lone adult without a splitcage. It is highly likely that the gerbil would just kill the mouse.
Cohabiting different types of rodents is never advised, and there are very, very few examples where it can be successful many of which are isolated incidents. Even where successful, the company of another species can never substitute for company of their own kind.

∙ 15y agowell, not necessarily. Gerbils and mice are both rodents, but mice are slightly smaller. I have heard that gerbils are also nicer than mice. I do not know if this is true. Gerbils can be trained to perform tricks, come when it's name is called, and other various things easier than mice. Gerbils also have longer tails, I think. I personally have the idea that mice are cuter, but gerbils are more hardy and productive.

∙ 15y agoNO. NEVER. Mouse: Mice have no fur on their tails, and white and black are common colors for them. Gerbil: Gerbils DO have fur on their tails, and white and black are rare colors.
