Scientists are increasing becoming to realise that Cavies or Guinea piga as they are more commonly known as, are in fact not rodents at all, and may even be in a family all of their own. They have sharp incisor teeth like a rodent, but unlike a rodent, they also have molars and premolars set far back into their little skulls. Also, the blood protein make-up of a cavy, is unlike that of any other rodent.

Yes they are; they have hair, are warm blooded, have a five-chamber heart, give birth to live young, and nurse young with milk.

Pigs are classified as Cetartiodactyla, Suidae,Sus scrofa and are most closely related to the other cloven-hoofed mammals: deer, cows, goats, and sheep, and just somewhat more distantly to whales and dolphins.

Yes they are a part of the Mammalian kingdom.

A guinea pig is both a rodent and a Mammal. The large category mammal includes animals that are warm-blooded vertebrate animals, that have, in the female, milk-secreting organs for feeding the young. Even you are a mammal. Within the mammal category is a smaller category called rodents. Rodents are small gnawing mammals with large incisor teeth that continue growing throughout the animal's life, e.g. a mouse, rat, squirrel, or marmot and even the pet guinea pig.

No, a pig is a mammal. Unlike reptiles, which are cold blooded, pigs are warm blooded, give live birth to their babies, and nurse them with milk.
