No. They are annelids.
No. Worms are either in Phylum Annelida if they are segmented like earthworms, or Nematoda if they are roundworms like hookworms or heart worms that your dog can get, or Phylum Platyhelminthes if they are flatworms like tapeworms.
Mammals all have hair, nurse their young with milk, have 4- chambered hearts, and nurture their young. There are some other nit-picking characteristics as well , but these are the most descriptive.
Mealworms are the larva stage in the life cycle of the darkling beetle. The larva hatch from eggs that adult darkling beetles lay. The larva grow, shed their outer carapace or "skin" and then form a pupa which then turns into a darkling beetle. The life cycle is a complete metamorphosis similar to a butterfly or moth unlike the life cycle of a grass hopper which has in complete metamorphosis going from egg to nympth to adult.
Meal worms are insects. it is because it has a pair of antennae, six legs and a hard outer covering called exoskeleton.

Yes; it is a larva of an insect.
Mealworm Pupa or what breeders reffer to as "aliens" are a very tough exo skeleton insect. During this stage the worms are protected by their outter shell and this makes them very difficult to digest and swollow. Most leopard geckos would not eat them as they do not move enough for the insect to grasp the geckos attention. I do not reccomend using mealworm pupa "aliens" as feeders.
A mealworm has 5 stages they go through.
The man mealworm and the woman mealworm fall in love and make babies and then they grow up old and die together. <3
Cutworms belong to many species as they are the larvae (caterpillars) of many different types of moths.
