No, because it never gets flipped face-up. You can activate Raigeki Break to destroy an opponent's face-down Man-eater Bug without any monster on the field getting destroyed.

No, a card is never active while it is face-down. If a Flip Effect Monster was flipped face-up, and then targeted by an effect such as "Book of Moon", a chain would form where "Book of Moon's" effect flips the monster into face-down Defense Position. Then, the Filp Effect Monster's effect would resolve. This does not apply to Effect Monsters with a Continuous Effect. This is similar to Continuous Trap and Spell cards. Continuous Monster Effects, Spells, and Traps only remain active while they are on the field and face-up. Their effect disappears if they are removed or flipped face-down. This ruling however, does not apply to Normal Spell and Traps, Quick-Play Spells, Ritual Spells, Counter Traps, or Ignition and Trigger Monster Effects.

No. A monster is flipped when attacked, or when Flip Summoned by the controlling player, or when an effect specifically says that the monster is flipped.

Face-down monsters do not flip if targeted while face down, nor will they flip if they are destroyed while face down.

No, monsters are only ever flipped when Flip Summoned, flipped at the beginning of the damage step when attacked while face-down, or flipped by an effect that specifically says they are.

A monster destroyed while face-down is never considered to be flipped.

No. A monster is only flipped when it is Flip Summoned, flipped face-up at the beginning of the Damage Step when attacked, or when a card effect specifically says it is. Under no other circumstance does it count as having been flipped.

When a monster attacks a facedown monster is that flip summon?

No, a 'Flip Summon' is a manual change from face-down defence to face-up attack position in one of your main phases. If the monster is flipped from an attack, or by an effect, then this is a Flip, but not a Flip Summon. Therefore regular Flip Effect monsters like Night Assailant will trigger from being attacked, but monsters that require Flip Summoning like Guardian Sphinx will not.

Can 'Chaos Command Magician' be removed from play by a monster effect?

Yes, it can, under certain conditions. Chaos Command Magician will negate a monster effect targeting it, if the targeting effect targets only one monster. Therefore it will negate the effect of Caius the Shadow Monarch. But if the removal effect targets multiple monsters, or does not target them at all, (DD Warrior Lady) then Chaos Command Magician cannot negate it, and will be removed.

Is the effect of Retilianne Medusa permanent?

The effect does not wear off at a specific time, not even if Reptilianne Medusa is destroyed. The effect will be applied to the affected monster for as long as that monster remains face-up on the field. If it is flipped down, then up, or removed from the field, the effect is removed too.

Could you tell my friend that wall of illusion gets destroyed if a monster with a higher attack and the attacking monster goes back to the owners hand?

If the monster is flipped up as a result of battle, the card is destroyed first, and then its effect is activated

Can you only use 'Trap Hole' on attack position monsters?

Indeed you can. A Tribute Summon is considered a type of Normal Summon.with the right use, it can destroy 3 monsters (2 that is needed to sacrifice or tribute and 1 for the tribute summoned monster) pretty sweet ^^ and pretty annoying too if you're on the other end. that's why it's always a must to add 3 trap holes on a deck.

Can you attack with 'Golem Sentry' and then flip him facedown?

A monster can't manually change battle position on the turn it declared an attack, but it can still be flipped face-down by an effect. Golem Sentry can attack, then activate its effect in main phase 2 and flip itself face down.

Does a flip effect activate when the monster is destroyed?

Destroying a monster does not flip it. But if a monster is flipped face-up when attacked, and considered destroyed by battle, then the flip effect will still activate.

Does a flip-effect still activate when is destroyed by card effect?

No, flip effect activate when the card is flipped, which will be by Flip Summon, or being attacked, or flipped by an effect. Simply being destroyed while face down, will not 'flip' the monster.

Does phoenix gearfried's effect negate book of moon?

Is a face-down monster flipped face-up if targeted by a card effect that destroys 1 monster?

No. A monster that is face down does not 'flip' when destroyed by a card effect, and will not trigger any flip effects.

Can a card effect target a token if it says to target a monster?

Monster Tokens are considered Monster Cards for all intents and purposes, except that they cannot be flipped face-down, and 'cease to exist' if an effect destroys them or tries to remove them from the field.

If a monster is attacked face down is it flip summoned?

A monster flipped face-up by a card effect, such as "Book of Taiyou" or "Stop Defense", or as a result of battle is notconsidered a Flip Summon. Only flipping a Set monster manually is considered a Flip Summon. So if you attack a face-down Stealth Bird, it will be flipped but not Flip Summoned, so its effect will not activate.

Can you activate Remote Revenge after your Summoner of Illusions is flipped by battle to protect your Fusion Monster in Yu-Gi-Oh?

No. Remote Revenge can only be used against an effect that targets a monster and destroys it on resolution. Summoner of Illusions does not target, and does not destroy anything on resolution. Remote Revenge can do nothing against effects that resolve, and destroy something later in the turn.

Does a flip effect activate when the monster is destroyed by the effect of another monster?

Flip effects will activate if flipped manually by Flip Summon, or when attacked. Also must include "FLIP" in all caps for its effect to activate, or say 'when this card is turned face-up'. For example if a monster such as Guardian Sphinx is flipped face up by an attack or an effect (spell, trap or monster), the effect does not activate, because only a Flip Summon triggers it, not a generic flip. When a card effect destroys a face-down monster, the monster is destroyed and flip effect isn't activated because the monster never flips. Mystic Swordsman Lvl. 4 destroys the monster it attacks without flipping it, so a Flip Effect monster attacked by it will not get its flip effect. To summarize, if a FLIP effect monster is attacked while face down, then it will activate. But if it's destroyed by a card effect while face down then it won't activate. Some card effects let you flip monsters face up and let the flip effect activate, like book of taiyou. But others, like ceasefire don't let it activate. If it says 'when this card is flipped face up' then you have to do that manually on your own turn.
