Are you sure it's KR and not KP? If it is KP, it stands for karat plumb.

its only 18k gold plated, not full gold This could be incorrect. If the ring has 18K/PLAT then the ring is 18K gold with some platinum. Probably to hold the diamond.

Without seeing the mark inside you would need to take it to a jeweler to find out if it is 18 Karat gold and the RGP is the makers mark or if it is Rolled Gold. A qualified jeweler can identify the item for you and will advise you on what it is and its value.
