A story typically has a structured plot with characters, setting, conflict, and resolution, aiming to convey a message or theme. An anecdote is a short, often amusing, personal account of a specific incident that may not have a structured narrative or deeper meaning. While stories are usually longer and more elaborate, anecdotes are brief and focus on a single event.

Myths when referred to are the stories about divine beings they are revered as true and sacred; they are endorsed by rulers and priests; and closely linked to religion. it is a traditional or legendary story, concerning some hero/being and event with/without factual or natural explanation.

A narrative is a story or account of events, experiences whether true or fictitious. (To write a story of events that an animal would do during the day...to make it interesting there would be confictling and made up information.)

basically to sum ot up a myth could be passed on throughout generations (Example the existence of witches in Salem.) they are closely linked to religion (Salem witches were considered the opposite to the puritan christians) and there is no explanation for their existence.

A narrative, or story accounts for events in a specific order. However, a narrative summary would be much smaller. It just gives a person a summary of what is to come and is not as specific.
