yes it is gluten free. it is sand particles. it is sodium dioxide which is silica. it comes from sand and is used in the production of glass products. why we have it in our food is really the question.

Yes, 460 is gluten free. Although wheat and other gluten sources are from celulose producing plans, the celulose is in the leaves while the gluten is in the seeds.

551 is derived from sand or Quartz. No adverse effects are known in food use. So I presume it is gluten free.
