No. According to the related link on Bowel Movements below (and other links along with it), meat such as beef, takes around 48 to 72 hours to digest, whereas plant matter takes only 2 hours. This is mainly because it is harder for humans to fully digest plant matter (unlike that in ruminants such as cattle) since we do not have a multiple-chambered stomach nor a large cecum. Thus, plants act as mere "gut-fillers" because the stomach and intestinal tracts cannot get all nutrients from such matter. Meat, on the other hand, is a bit easier to digest because our digestive tract is designed to digest such matter. All the nutrients can be absorbed from meat because our stomachs have the digestive enzymes to break down meat, and the small intestine is able to absorb much of the nutrients from meat.
