kid might enjoy it but he'll probably be a dick after doing so and bragging to is friends. Parents, parenting skills would come into question. Gamers of the appropriate age and maturity to play and enjoy the game will get pissed when they hear, the 14 year old on a mic. In short, probably not. All this comes from experiencing it.
It depends on whether your son is violent or not
!!! as a mother I bought this game for my 32 year old husband and I would not allow our 9 year old to even come close to this game. This allows them to learn allot about planned violence, and is graphic and uses language Im sure you wouldn't want him to use around his grandmother. My husband agrees and only games out on this game after the kids are snug in there beds, and if you let him do it LIVE where he can hear ANYONE AND CHAT WITH ANYONE you will be opening the door to something BAD!!!!! My husband has to mute people all the time because of the way they talk and you have to hear them first before you know you need to mute them. ITs for 17 year old and above for a REASON!!!

Woman your dumb. I know 0 year olds who play Call Of duty 2!!!
I think it just depends on what you want your kid to do and see. It's all about war and that stuff but I think you can change the options to no blood/language. All and all, it just depends on what you want your kid to see.
I would not recommend the Campaign as the language is a little strong, and also many people online who have microphones may use inappropriate language (this happens a lot) In the end it is the parents personal preference.
Well that is certainly up to the parent. As long as you are ok with the child seeing blood and gore than you will be alright. The language is pretty bad, but you can just mute your TV or PC.
Well the pack says not suitable for 15 but there are many people i know even at 7 years old that play the game

Largely, it depends on the standing of the parents on whether or not their 9 year old should play Call of Duty or not. It should also be noted that the modern Call of Duty series is rated "M" for Mature 17+. This rating is not posted on the original Call of Duty, Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty: United Offensive, or Call of Duty 3 - in which are rated "T" for Teens.
