Not sure exactly what you mean. However, whether we use solar energy or not, the Sun will continue shining - and using up its fuel. So, in a way, any solar energy we don't use will be wasted.

Yes, Solar energy does need to be conserved and you can conserve it with little that you can use at home e.g. fill a clear container up with water then dig it up to heat under ground.

There is no need to specifically conserve SOLAR energy; the amount of energy we get from the Sun is simply enormous, and will continue lasting for many millions of years more.There IS a need to conserve energy in general, since it costs money and resources to collect energy.
