An abstract noun is a word for something that can't be experienced by any of the five physical senses; something that can't be seen, heard, smelled, tasted, or touched.

The noun dawn is a concrete noun, word for the period in the day when the light from the sun begins to appear in the sky, the dawn is something that is seen.

No. Dawn is a noun (or vern). But it can be used with other nouns as an adjunct, e.g. a dusk to dawn curfew.
