Most websites will load with dial-up internet. They may take a while to load however. It all depends on your patience level. If you like to watch streaming video, or download any type of file, dial-up will often be too slow and cause either a time-out error, or hog your computer functionality for several hours until download is complete.
Dial-up
Relly slow internet, usually in isolated places and/or low populous places.
Dial-up internet is outdated and painfully slow. Digital internet is fast and you don't have to worry about someone picking up the phone, throwing you offline.
Dial-up internet is often known to be noisy and slow. I would suggest broadband internet regardless of the price due to its higher quality. The best internet for you may also depend on the area that you live. If you live in a country area, I would suggest dial-up.
A modem is used for gaining internet through a RJ-11 port... (Phone lines) AKA Dial-Up = slow internet
Compared to modern ADSL or cable connections, a dial-up connection can handle only a limited amount of data per second. When you visit cheat sites, you will see that they usually have large banners, many pictures and colorful animated advertisments. All of these need to be loaded on your screen, which takes a lot of bandwidth.
The cheapest price ive seen for dial up internet service has been $15 per month. It is extremely slow though, for an extra $15 you could have some of the best high speed internet offered.
Dial up is slow and high speed is fast and usually wireless
Good internet providers depend on your location and speed requirements. Some providers do not serve all locations. Companies like Virgin Media, BT and TalkTalk in the UK provide good dial up internet solutions.
