Not likely. Disney+ ended up with over 10 million subscribers on its launch day.

The Disney+ app has been downloaded more than 3.2 million times. Despite tech problems that affected the service throughout the launch day.

For additional context, experts projected Disney+ would have anywhere between 10-18 million subscribers in its first year. Disney has already signed up more than half of those projected numbers in the first day.

Will it take over the top stop from Netflix. We'll see. But it is not likely doomed to fail.
