Yes, as water boils the temperature of the boiling water no longer rises. The energy from the heat source that is boiling the water is however STILL there. What happens is that this energy is taken away by the water vapor leaving the boiling water surface. This energy is called "LATENT HEAT".
The latent heat is given up again when the water vapor condenses back to liquid water so the water vapor caries the heat from one place to another.
It is this energy that powers Hurricanes.
Yes, the water boils and releases energy!!!
Thermodynamics is the branch of chemistry concerned with energy changes.

Energy KJC.
energy only
Most of it will end up in the water It travels through the water.
absorption
energy can be tranfered by light, air, gas, water, and steam
The energy is transferred to ATP.

If water absorbs a large amount of energy it boils.

HEAT ENERGY is Transfred to the WATER.^ ^energy direction
Cola boils in the same way that any other element would boil. Cola will boil when enough heat energy is transferred to it.
when hot water and cold water are mixed together then the energy is transfered from hotwater to cold water
Most of it will end up in the water It travels through the water.
