no dip sherlock. get a dictionary. gohg. my god how dumb are you? My mom?
johnson outboards aka (BRP) says that it is OK to use ethanol blended fuel if it is less than 10% blend. it is not recommended though. See the attached link below. Happy boating!
Yes. It is used as racing fuel, aviation fuel, and for 2 stroke outboard motors. Link to a locator site: http://buyrealgas.com/SouthCarolina.html
Sta-Bil Might be the answer at the end of Mowing/Trimming Season.
When the gas station pump is marked that the fuel contains ethanol then all grades of their fuel contains it, including supreme. There are a few places that sell non ethanol fuel, especially near boat dock and boat ramps because ethanol in boat motors causes issues.
Since the gasoline we purchase these days leaves a lot to be desired, I have been recommending high octane fuel to my customers. Also, avoid fuel containing ethanol for use in your outboard.
Yes. Almost all modern gasoline contains a ethanol. there's also a complex additive package that's supposed to keep motors clean, and help out with smog. it works alright, but you cant leave gas sitting unused for more than about 2 months before it goes bad, starts to change color and turn to varhish
100:1 Sais so on the manual. Be careful, other outboard motors use 50:1.
No, its bad for your engine Sure you can mix them as long as your vehicle has a flex fuel engine. You can also mix then in a non flex fuel engine as long as you do not mix more than 10% ethanol with plain gasoline.
Some with older cars don't notice a difference when combining ethanol with gasoline. 10% ethanol mixed with gasoline is a safe amount to use for perfect results.
done properly, not really. most cars can handle a low percentage (maybe 5-10%) ethanol in their gas without harm. It will, however, reduce gas mileage.
From what I've heard, if your vehicle was not designed to run on ethanol, don't put it in the tank. Ethanol is a type of alcohol, and will corrode fuel lines, fuel injectors and cause a number of problems. 99, suburban....I'd use regular gas to be safe
You can only use the gas that is blended with ethanol. 90 % gas 10 % ethanol. You can not use the new 85% ethanol 15 % gas; this will eat the seals on your fuel system. I hope this helps you. Mark
