WWE is scripted, not fake, fair enough they are trained to wrestle without killing each other. They can't really kick someone in the face and then punch them, they'd be out after 3 minutes. However, you can't fake falling onto a wooden based ring from 6 feet or being put through a table that's lit on fire. WWE IS scripted though, WWE stands for world Wrestling entertainment, it's a show, storylines are created for the viewers enjoyment, the winner is always decided. Some of the bigger matches are choreographed, to make a good match. Although sometimes some matches become all too real when there is tension between the superstars in real life for example Edge and Matt Hardy, Lita cheated on Matt Hardy with Edge in real life. Given that not everyone gets along, most of the superstars backstage are good friends, they are colleagues and work with each other. Overall, yes WWE is planned, but not fake. Some people think that scripted means fake, it doesn't.

Another Answer:

WWE is considered sports "entertainment" or professional wrestling. The company includes scripted storylines, segments and pre-determined matches. The wrestling is, for the most part fake, but they make it look real as much as possible. However, that doesn't mean the wrestlers don't get hurt, injured or bloodied by mistake.

WWE is not real. It is staged. It is most like Reality TV. They are actually hitting eachother, but they are bodybuilders so they can take it. They get paid millions of dollars for it.
