In a foam there is a large gap between the conduction band and the valence of band in the atoms makng up the foam. If any object is to conduct electricity through it the gap between the conduction band amd the valance should be minimun or overlapping so that the electrons in the valance band can go into conduction band and conduct electricity
It's a poor thermal and electrical conductor.
No, foam is a good insulator, but not a good conductor.
No. plastic foam is a good insulator - not a conductor of heat or electricity.
Silver is the best conductor of heat. Titanium is the hardest metal. potassium cyanide is the most poisonous compound
it has a high melting point it is a good conductor of heat and electricity if you are reading this please email brian.taliban@gmail.com the location of chloe amores
Styrofoam is a brand trade mark for extruded polystyrene foam. This foam is a very good insulator, and will trap heat, so keeping food hot for a long times.
Every substance has its nature for example water's boiling point is 100'C it wouldn't start boiling at -100'C instead it would freeze. It also depends on is that substance is a conductor or an insulator.
In science, conduct means to serve as a channel. For example, water and most metals will conduct electricity.
because it's a good heat conducter Electric conductors tend to be good heat conductors, but the above seems reasonable.
Of course it is!
yes,in fact it is good conductor of heat
It is a bad conductor of heat, that is why it is used as an insulating material.
It is a good insulator of heat :)
yes gold is a good conducter of heat and electricity
No. it is not
yes. these are the best conductors of heat: copper aluminum, glass, brass and steel conduct heat the best
No, nor heat nor electric nor kinetic energy
NO!!! the properties of metals are that it is a good conducter of heat!!! Please click on the trust button below if this helped.
Yes, very good. Gold and silver are better, but are generally too expensive for most purposes.
