Is global warming a good thing or bad thing?
Because it will result in higher sea levels, global warming will result in a lot of coastal areas becoming uninhabitable. It might also alter the Gulf Stream, making Europe much colder.
There are still some people who argue that global warming is not happening, or that it is not important, or that we can't do anything about it anyway, but there isn't anyone who is actually for global warming. We all agree that global warming is a bad thing. No one actually wants the world to get warmer. It's warm enough.
It may or may not because if the global warming is not so bad it will not effect plant and animal communities if global warming is bad it will effect plant and animal communities. If the plant life gets effected by global warming, some animals can be effected to because they eat the plants! Same thing for the plants that eat insects and stuff!
Melting glaciers and land ice raising sea levels and permanently flooding many of the world's great cities as well as destroying vast quantities of coastal land presently used for food crops. Heat waves, wild fires, famines, and storm tides causing havoc, and millions of global warming refugees moving into countries further from the equator desperately seeking food and shelter.
In the very long term, global warming neither helps nor harms the earth. There have been natural cycles of both warming and cooling, generally over quite long periods of time. As a result, we can also expect rising sea levels, just as in the past, as well as more frequent and severe flooding in some areas, but more severe and prolonged droughts in others. We have already begun to experience more frequent severe hurricanes. Once…
it causes it because you have to think why do we have global warming if we didn't have global warming we might not be living right now and i know global warming is bad but if it wasn't for global warming we might not have snow, rain, cold and summer. that's what causes global warming. so I'm telling you this right now we better be thankful we have global warming if not one day we…
Trapping infrared radiation (rising from the surface of the earth) keeps the atmosphere warm enough for life. This has been happening for hundreds of millions of years. This is a good thing. (When too much heat is trapped, as is happening now, then the atmosphere starts getting warmer. This is called global warming. This is a bad thing!)
Most people disagree with global warming, though the answer is obviously no. Global warming may increase plant and crop growing seasons, which affects people in a good way, but even that does show a sign of greater way of life since we already have an abundant amount of them (plants and crops). Global warming won' t make life as great since it can do many bad things such as letting out greenhouse gases.
Global warming may have bad consequences for man and his society, and other species of Earth life. At the same time, it could promote or benefit certain living things. The basis for global warming is an increase in carbon dioxide, which will at least initially benefit most plant life on Earth. Another basis is an increase in temperature which will affect the climate. It may also turn some fertile lands into desert, causing famine.
If there was no natural greenhouse effect we would all be frozen to death. We need the heat that is trapped by the greenhouse gases to keep us warm and alive. But the increasing amount of methane and carbon dioxide is causing an accelerated or enhanced greenhouse effect, lifting the temperature of the earth and causing global warming. Global warming is then causing climate change. So some greenhouse effect is good. Too much is certainly…
Global warming isn't happening. It's not caused by human activity. It's not a bad thing anyway. Cutting back carbon emissions will damage the economy. Renewable energy can't provide baseline power.. Another five: 1. The Antarctic is losing ice 2. Sea levels are rising 3. Polar bears are currently dying due to global warming 4. This warming trend started in 1850 5.
