From the Daily Telegraph in 2006: Greg Page (the Yellow Wiggle) said he is suffering from a chronic condition called orthostatic intolerance, which means when he stands up his heart doesn't pump enough blood around his body.
"It's not a life-threatening condition by any means, but it is one that's going to be with me for the rest of my life,'' the 34-year-old said. "It means I'll no longer be able to sing and dance the way that I want to and as a result I've decided to stop performing with The Wiggles.''
In September 2009, during an interview on the tv show "A Current Affair," Greg said that he is doing great and was returning to singing doing solo shows. He is also available for motivational speaking and M.C. work. He plans CDS and touring in the future. Greg lives in Dural, a suburb of Sydney, and is active in charity work, cricket, O.I. research and overseeing the Elvis Presley museum to which he donated his extensive collection of memorabilia.
because he fell ill and had to be put in a wheel chair so he cannot sing and dance anymore
Greg was diagnosed with Orthostatic Intolerance, and stepped back from the group in
order to work on regaining his health. AT NO POINT was he ever in a wheelchair. When he was at his worst, he did use a walking stick, but he has always been able to walk. O.I. is
a condition that can be treated with medication and management, and Greg said in September 2009 that his health is now great, and that he was returning to singing.
He has done solo shows, plans to record CDS and do some touring. He is very active
in charity work, plays cricket, oversees a research fund for O.I., and has established a
museum for Elvis Presley to which he donated his extensive collection of memorabilia -
the third largest in the world after Graceland. With the other Wiggles, he was given his
second Honorary Doctorate in September 2009, and in January 2010, the original Wiggles were made Members Of The Order Of Australia - a prestigious award given for their years
of work with children. Greg has recently joined Facebook with two friend pages and a fan page. He does some posting, and there are many articles and video links to current news, and also recent photos.
Greg has successfully overcome his condition and is well again. He has returned to The Wiggles (Jan. 18, 2012) and is busy in the studio with the group writing new songs and recording. Touring in Australia will start in March, and the guys will be in England in June and the U.S. in July 2012
He has been touring with a country rock band as well as raising awareness about orthostatic intolerance through a foundation of his own creation (The Greg Page Fund).
Greg was interviewed on the t.v. show "A Current Affair" in September 2009, and said that his health was very good now, and that he was returning to singing doing solo shows. He has been doing that, but has done no touring yet. He does hope to do some in the near future. He also plans to record a CD. Greg is involved with the Baker IDI research group, part of which is his Fund For Orthostatic Intolerance. He is also a spokesperson for DYNA
(Dysautonomia Youth Network Of America.) He is very active in the Sydney cricket community, and plays frequently for exercise, and also participates in many matches for charitable fund raisers. He is available for motivational speaking and M.C. work. Greg also does one-on-one counseling with O.I patients. In late November 2008, Greg said that he was doing some property development. Greg is an avid collector of Elvis memorabilia, and has the third largest collection in the world after Graceland. He recently donated it (said to be worth close to 2 million dollars) to start a museum so all Australians can view the collection.
Yes, Greg HAS RETURNED to The Wiggles. He is officially back as of January 18, 2012. He has come back to reclaim his skivvy and is back where he belongs in the role he created - The yellow Wiggle. moran is out of the group and is no longer associated with The Wiggles in any way
no hes not dead he is back with the wiggles and he retired
He has a medical condition that doesn't allow him to be on his feet for a long period of time so if he's on his feet then not enough blood gets to his heart.

The Original Wiggles are five band members. They are Murray Cook, Jeff Fatt, Anthony Field, Greg Page and Phillip Wilcher
The Wiggles came from Sydney Australia. Anthony, Murray, and Greg met at Macquarie University while studying Early Childhood Education. They began to write children's songs together as one of their music projects. Anthony already knew Jeff from a band (an Australian pop band that was very popular in the 1980's) they played in together called the Cockroaches. So Jeff joined the three of them. They then became the Wiggles. Sam, the new Yellow Wiggle, is also from Australia. He took Greg's place after Greg became ill and had to retire from the Wiggles. Sam is the permanent yellow Wiggle and Greg will never come back.
