No you should mix it up its not like your always going to battle grass types or steel types keep flamethrower and heat wave but change the rest choose earthquake and maybe a dragon type attack like dragon breath or a flying attack like aerial ace or even fly
well my charizard is undefeated
its moves are fire blast heat wave blast burn fly
what about heat wave blast burn rock slide brick break
if you have to teach it a fighting move choose seismic toss or focus blast
rock slide isn't that powerful i think charizard can learn solar beam but if not than try dragon pulse
Its ok, but i would go with this:
Fire blast/flamethrower/blast burn,sunny day,solarbeam,dragon pulse/air slash
Flare Blitz Final Gambit Stored Power Overheat
Mines lv80 it knows solarbeam earthquake blast burn and focus blast. You can teach it fire blast if you can't teach it blast burn . i'd recoomend teaching it sunny day for bertha then your solarbeam doesn't need to charge. catch a water type and or a grass type, forget the hm moves the only decent hm moves are surf and fly. or mine has close combat blast burn earthquake poison jab. I'm trying to teach it flare blitz instead of blast burn, though.
Fire Blast, Close Combat, Flamethrower, And Flare Blitz are the best he can learn. It is also recommended to spread out your types as well. Replacing Flamethrower with Earthquake, and Flare Blitz with Solarbeam gives it a sturdier moveset and can handle a lot more types than those weak to Fire and Fighting. Flare Blitz can do damage to Infernape after hitting the opponent, so it's kind of tricky to predict that you'll be just fine after an attack and damage.
You shoud replace Mirror Move with ThunderPunch to have a better type coverage.
Infernape learns Flare Blitz at Lv 57
Charizard at lvl 100 with: .overheat .fire blast .flare blitz .fly
Charizard can't learn flare blitz because its not a move, maybe your talking about Blast burn it needs to be level 50 to learn it then go to two island and go north to a house go in and talk to the lady show her your charizard and she will teach it blast burn.
the best moves for infernape are fireblast earthqauke close combat and blast burn No, that moveset sucks. Close Combat, Flamethrower, Flare Blitz and Earthquake is a really good moveset. no, the best moves for infernape is Flare Blitz because of the ability blaze, Thunder Punch for water and flying types, Close Combat or Mach punch, and Shadow claw for the Psychic types. This is the best moveset for sure.
I'm 99.999999999...% positive that charizard learns flare blitz at level 66.
your infernape sucks, take out close combat and replace it with focus punch. here is my infernape's moveset flamethrower flare blitz blast burn focus punch
Flare Blitz, Close Combat, Earthquake/Overheat, Thunderpunch/Stone Edge.
Flare Blitz Final Gambit Stored Power Overheat
it ether has to be blast burn or flare blitz or fire blast
it does not even learn fire blast it learns flare blitz instead
if you want the best charizard in your fire red or leaf green you should do this scorching combination: DRAGON CLAW-it is useful when battling the elite four lance in kanto and drake in hoenn and Claire in johto,it is the best basic dragon attack for charizard. FLAMETHROWER-good move if you want to conserve your better moves like blast burn...it is useful also when battling lorelei... FIRE BLAST-if you think that a flamethrower could`NT take down an opponent the good ally move is here the fire blast... BLAST BURN-this awesome super powerful move of charizard is known as the fire`s destructive force, why do you think so? because this move is only used when your in trouble...it can take down an opponent if you used it wisely...however you have to recharge...so use it wisely -Pokemon researcher Ignore the person above who's writing is in middle of screen. These are the best moves for charizard Flamethrower Heat Wave Dragon Claw Aerial Ace Charizard is da only Pokemon i used in the game of fire red and i beat the elite four with it at lv 72. try it out! remember, have no Pokemon except charizard Daniel moreman

It might, but then again, it might not. All these moves have limited PP(excluding Earthquake). If you're going to use this in competive battling, then replace Blast Burn with Fire Punch or keep Flare Blitz, for double battles don't use Earthquake;instead use Thunderpunch(this is a better idea anyway; Thunderpunch is super effective against water types AND flying types, which is what Infernape is weak against), Brick Break for Focus Blast, and the fourth move should be Swords Dance so that Infernape can raise its already-high attack. This moveset does require quite a bit of effort though;Thunder/Fire Punch will have to be taught by one of the Platinum/Heart Gold/Soul Silver move tutors at the Battle Frontier.
