In most states it is a misdemeanor if there is only property damage, and a felony if there is bodily injury.
In my five years of marching band, I've seen numerous injuries, but few of them really relating to marching. Lots of guard members get injuries from spinning, and sometimes band members get injured from being hit. Pulled muscles, rolled ankles, or falls could happen. But so far in my band, I've seen a sprained wrist from a front flip, a sprained ankle from swimming, a broken foot from falling down stairs, a broken toe from running into a wall, a broken collar bone from a football tackle, and lots of sunburn.
Depends on the speed you are traveling, what kind of car you are in, where on the car you hit, what the telephone pole is made out of and how well it was anchored. If you hit a wooden, leaning telephone pole in a large SUV head-on at 50mph, you will probably be okay (but with injuries, total your car and tip the pole, leaving live wires lying all over the place, which is bad). However, if you crash into a metal telephone pole in a small sedan head on traveling 50 miles an hour, you could sustain serious injuries and die. Always wear your seatbelt. If you hit anywhere on the side, from skidding perhaps, traveling at any appreciable velocity, you had better hope that it's the passenger side and that you don't have a passenger, because it could very likely crush and kill them. If you hit it fast enough, as demonstrated in a picture I saw once of an Audi R8, if you hit the pole sideways fast enough, it will tear your car in half.
AnswerIn January of 1998, the media told us Bono had died in a skiing accident. Later, there were rumors of drug abuse. However, Bono was actually murdered. To read about the cover-up, go to www.dcdave.com
If Aaliyah was still alive she would be singing more songs and she will be 30 with kids and she might be married so if that dumb pilot wasn't on crack he wouldn't kill Aaliyah or the 7 other girls on the private plane why she had to die?
Yes, he did hit her, but she hit him in the head with a cellphone right after he hit her.
It depends largely on where the accident happened. However, in most US states it is only a felony if there was injuries or serious damage to property, otherwise it is a misdemeanor.
Yes, a hit and run with property damage but without injury is typically considered a misdemeanor offense in Florida. However, it can be upgraded to a felony if the property damage is significant or if there are prior convictions for similar offenses.
no 2nd Answer: Wups!! There indeed IS a law that you cannot hit a girl, a boy, or anyone else. That crime is called 'battery', and may be a misdemeanor or a felony, depending upon the degree of battery, and what the hitter said to the victim.
yes it's a felony almost evry whare if not evrywhare in the U.S. It's only a felony if it involves personal injury or death. It is only a class C misdemeanor if there is only property damage which is less than $200 (not very likely these days). If there's property damage of $200 or more it is a class B misdemeanor.
yes you can because even dough you did not get injured you unborn baby could have
Unfortunatey, if you hit a car from behind, it is your fault. Period. Your insurance will pay for damages and the other person's injuries, if any. Hopefully, nobody was seriously injured, but you can expect your insurance to go up!
It varies dependong on the strength and size of the tornado and where and when it hits. Most tornadoes do not cause any injuries because they are weak or do not hit a densely populated area. Most that do injure people do not cause more than a handful of injuries. However, some tornadoes will cause dozens, even hundreds of injuries. In the years 1991-2013 there were more than 28,000 tornadoes in the U.S., of which 249 caused 100 or more injuries. Of those, two injured more than 1,000 people each.
Robbery is a felony - simple assault is a misdemeanor. If both charges arose from the same incident the prosecutor MAY combine the charges and hit you with the felony offense and 'enhance' it to account for the lesser offense. You are probably looking at a felony charge. Since no information is given about the offense, or your a past criminal record, it is impossible to estimate.
That depends on how hard you hit your head. If you hit it softly, there might not be any injuries. If you hit it hard, then you might have internal injuries.
The May 3rd, 1999 tornado outbreak in Oklahoma resulted in approximately 583 injuries.
