Homework helps us a lot to give us a better education. Math problems help reinforce the lessons taught. Reports and assignments allow you to dig into specific areas. Reading assignments help give you an idea of what things you will be covering next.
Imagine what kind of job you would get if you don't have an education!
It can be either or both.
Humans need practice to learn skills,
but not all teachers seem to grasp that if it's boring it will turn people off.
It should be individualized for each student, but I've yet to see a school where that is done.
Yes, it lets you go over what was discussed in class. You really learn by doing, not just listening and homework is doing.
but homework is a spy camera and you can like it or not.
What does that even MEAN - a spy camera? - homework is useful for helping you learn the class material and for making better grades in class
When discussing homework it is important to realize that the USA promotes copious amounts of homework for children, an early start in education and other "education is a task" approaches. The usefulness appears to be one of keeping teachers in control of education, turning children into obedient drones and workers and maintaining rh status quo.If homework were a good thing the USA would tromp places like Finland where children don't start school until they are 7 years old, have shorter school days and NO homework.
This is not the case - Finland is near the top in the international Pisa tests and the USA below the midpoint of scores for all countries participating in the tests.
Well homework can be helpful if your struggling and harmless otherwise.
Homework helps you practice what you learned so that you can learn it better.
