No, I'm pretty sure it isn't.
A month old puppy is not weined yet. He still needs his mothers milk.
You shouldn't, because it is too harsh for their skin. You should use cat shampoo, or if you don't have any cat shampoo, you can use baby shampoo, but not dish soap nor regular human shampoo for adults.
No,if a 3 week old puppy needs a bath, please call your vet and ask if you can use a dry shampoo.
Your nine month old puppy was weaned too early. Your puppy will out grow this in time.
Only wash a puppy if it is extremely dirty or if recommended to do so by a veterinarian. Washing puppies to often can make them more susceptible to disease which is why it is usually not recommended.
Bathe the puppy in oatmeal shampoo or a mild shampoo, you can use Benadryl but it is best to ask a veterinarian how much to use, because a human dosage can kill a puppy. So please call a vet.
1 month old is a 4-week old puppy ... much too young for a bath, so the answer is NO soap or shampoo. At 4 weeks old a puppy should still be with its mother, and its mother will keep it clean.
Only if it is baby shampoo. Adult shampoos are harsh on the skin of a dog and should never be used on a dog or puppy.
Any shampoo that's available in puppy adoption centres.
In the first year of life, a puppy goes from newborn to adult. That would take about eighteen to twenty years in a human. So, four weeks being roughly a twelfth of a year, that would make a month old puppy chronologically equivalent to an eighteen to twenty month old human. After the first year, dogs age approximately four years to each human year. The idea of dog years being equal seven human years is an average over their entire life span.
I am assuming you mean " give a 9 month old puppy his first shots"Well , puppy should have had his first shot at 3 month, depending on the breed, some very small breeds get their shots at 4 month. But better late then never. Take this puppy to the vets as soon as possible, the vet will advise you what is needed and how to proceed.
No a puppy has to have had all its shots before you can bathe it which will be around 16 weeks old.Clarification:A puppy does not have to have all of it's shots before bathing it, but a puppy's mother usually keeps it clean (by licking them) until it is weaned, around 5 - 6 weeks old, so there really should be no need to bathe it. But if you do need to bathe it you can, just be sure to use shampoo that is made for puppies and do NOT use human shampoo. There are numerous shampoos available for puppies, and they are not expensive, so you can easily find one at stores such as Wal Mart, as well as many grocery stores. To bathe the puppy, you can do it at the kitchen sink, just be sure to put a towel in the bottom to keep the puppy from slipping and prevent injury. You could also place a plastic basin in the sink instead. Before you begin though, have a towel at hand, and never leave the puppy unattended while in the sink or basin.Wet the puppy with warm water, apply shampoo and lather well, then rinse with warm water, being careful not to get shampoo or water in it's eyes. Be sure to rinse thoroughly, or the residual shampoo can cause skin irritation to the puppy. Then dry the puppy with a soft towel. For many puppies, their first bathing experiences can affect how they react to being bathed in the future, so be sure to make it as comfortable and safe for the puppy as possible.
my answer is it wont hurt them but try sticking to human body shampoo cause i use it and it doesn't hurt he guinea pig one bit but it bit my dad finger it doesn't like getting baths
Yes, When I first bought my puppy she was 6 weeks old and they said I was aloud to so I'm pretty positive that you can use it on your three month old puppy! :)
yes but use baby shampoo and be very gentle around face.
yes your puppy can get fleas, they can get them from there mother or other animals..I was told the best way to get rid of them is to use citrus dishwash, but you can't use flea shampoo or other flea treatments until there a certain age.
