Yes. By booting from the Live CD and selecting "Install alongside another operating system", Ubuntu will automatically create a new partition if there is a sufficient empty space in the HDD. Otherwise, the Partitions Manager will prompt you to select the size of the new Linux partition to remove from the original OS.
Yes, you can. You will need to partition your hard drive because Linux has to be installed in a separate volume. I would install windows first and then Ubuntu.
Click the install as partition when installing Ubuntu.
Yes, you can but you have to install Windows 7 in another partition.
It is not possible to install any Operating System next to another on the same partition. To dual-boot Windows 7 and Windows XP, first install Windows 7, and while in the partition manager, delete all partitions and create one for Windows 7 and one for Windows XP. Then install Windows 7 to it's partition. Then install XP to it's partition. You should now be able to boot either Operating System. Note: You must install XP after Windows 7 as the Windows 7 installation wizard would want to upgrade XP. WARNING: This will erase all of the data on your hard drive. Be sure to back up all of your files before installing anything.
You can not move the whole program between partitions. Uninstall the one you have now and install it again choosing the correct partition. If you are using both partitions but booting up w7 on one and w8 on the other just do a normal install on your w8 one.
Boot Camp allows you to install Windows on your Mac and dual boot. Your Mac will look just like a Windows PC when you boot into the Windows partition. You will also have to install Windows Security on that partition to be safe.
Um...Windows is an Operating system...not a program. you'd have to install Windows separate from Mac on a separate partition or hard drive. It is also illegal to get it free, it's a paid program. Piracy is stealing. Hope this helps
You need to create a partition on your hard drive. You can then install separate OS on each partition. Run BIOS to select which partition to boot from.
you need to create a partition on your hard drive then put 7 on the partition and then get easy bcd 1.7.2
Microsoft OSes require a separate partition per OS.
It is very easy to do this. The only thing you must remember is that you cannot install windows 98 from Windows XP environment. Either install 98 first and then XP or after installing XP reboot in DOS mode. The install will ask for the drive to install to when you do so?
To do that, you need to create two separate partitions on your hard drive and choose a free partition during the OS installations.
