What is possion of a firearm?
Is it possible that you mean possession of a firearm? In general, possession means having control over an item. If you hold the item in your hand, or place it in your dresser drawer, you have actual possession of the item. If I have the keys to the lock on a gun safe, I have CONSTRUCTIVE possession of all guns in that safe- I may not be holding the guns, but I control them.

What are the conditions of being considered possession of a controlled substance according to law?
"Possession" in the law does not necessarily mean having it on your person. Can a wife in Arizona own and keep a gun in the house with her husband who is a felon?
NO, not unless she wishes to risk the arrest of her husband! A felon cannot be in "possession" of a firearm. 'Possession,' in the law, means ANYWHERE where he has access to it, or can exercise control over it. Having a firearm in the residence or in the car, or for that matter ANYWHERE he may be, is known as "concurrent possession," and is prohibited.

Does a probation violation for drug paraphernalia ever go away after time?
This depends on what you mean by go away. If you were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia while on probation this will always be on your arrest record. If you are referring to being on probation for drug paraphernalia and a probation violation warrant is active then no it will not go away. It is possible to get a lawyer to enter on the case and maybe get Court date without having to be arrested.
