To me, sin means separation from God, and I wholeheartedly agree with the previous answer that God does not concern himself with such trivial matters as what we do amuse ourselves, so long as it harms no one else. AnswerThe Christian perspective is that it is since there is so much good you could be doing. Plus the fact that we will have to give account of how we spend our time, which is essentially a gift of God to us. We also do not know how much time we have left upon the earth. As recent disastrous fires in Australia show, we never know when or how quickly our life could be snuffed out, so why waste it!!! As well we are essentially not our own, we are Christ's and so I doubt He would see this as being a useful activity seeing a world is dieing lost in sin. Answer:I don't think the ancient hebrews were into that, so I guess the only way is to ask God in the afterlife.
