Ideally, it is best to be with who you love and are compatible with, no matter what their race. Unfortunately, we do not always live in an ideal world.
Your culture and society may cause some issues that can cause difficulties in your relationship. In some places, these issues can be quite serious. You have to weigh all the possibilities, and see if the problems you might face is worth the relationship you are looking at.
If you are in a society that the problems are minimal, such as possible rude comments or nasty looks in a grocery store, it might be totally worth it to you. The love and joy you get from that relationship will likely outweigh any outside negativity that some people might try to throw your way.
However, if you are somewhere that it may put your life, your loved ones life, or even your family's lives in danger, you need to think things over, discuss it with the people that might be on the receiving end of the consequences, and review your options.
Although interracial marriage is no longer outlawed in most countries, there can still be strong social mores in many regions. There was an area in Kentucky that was pushing to have it rebanned as recently as 2011. There will be stressors and negative influences that will try any relationship, even those of the same race. It is pretty much up to you to decide what you are willing to deal with for a person that you care about.

People resort to 'labeling' because it is the human nature to put everything into a category and have everything fit into neat little boxes. They also did that because of the people and their appearances, and how much they own. The more you own, the better.
