My brother and I are almost 7 years apart (I'm the eldest.) During our childhood I basically got stuck having him tag along with my friends and I have to admit I didn't like it, yet felt I had a responsibility to care for him and give my mother a break. We fought like cat and dog and had little in common. It wasn't until we married and settled down (becoming more mature adults) that we have since been much closer, but there is a void there between us. Nothing too serious, but just not the bond I think one should have for their sibling. My brother and I will always be there for each other for the serious things in life, but other than that I can't tell you the last time I had a serious discussion about any problem he and I were going through at the time. Usually siblings that are closer to age such as 2 - 3 years difference seem to get along better, but it's still may not work out. You just have to pray it does. This is a tough question, but if I had to do it, I'd have my kids closer together. Marcy It seems easier to have them further apart. The older one can alays help with the younger one when you need it.

Because the molecules are closer together.

No. Evaporation makes particles move further apart.

Water. it is more viscous (thick) then air which means the molecules are closer together therefore making it easier to travel through (but not better to hear).

Well they are closer than those of gas, but further than those of a solid.

It is the method by which individual sheets are woven together is what makes them strong. If you take a closer look at a paper towel you will see a pattern on the towel. Patterns which tend to be closer together produce a stronger paper towel than those with patterns further apart.

Because all of the molecules are closer together and able to conduct better than liquids.

That would depend entirely on your starting point. For instance, LA is closer to Sacramento, but further from New York City. However, Boston is closer to New York City, but further from Sacramento.

Distance: The closer together the stronger gravity. The further apart the weaker gravity. Size: The greater the mass, the stronger the gravity.
