If you are under 13, putting your face on YouTube or Myspace is a dangerous thing. When you are under 13, you don't really have the common sense to care that much about what you are filming, since the background tells all. If you film a local place, like a sign, or an address of a place, it is extremely dangerous, especially if you are under 13. However, if you are 13 or older, and know exactly how to not let those things get into the background of photos or videos, it isn't that dangerous.
But, myspace is a different story. Myspace is where you can describe yourself to the whole world, so putting your picture on it isn't even in the slightest a good idea. It could be quite dangerous, because the picture of yourself plays in conjunction with what you write on your Myspace, so it could be pretty dangerous. As long as you work out all the kinks, like if you want to take a picture of yourself, erase the background, or if you want to write all about yourself, then choose not to take a picture of yourself.
In most cases it is not dangerous for your face to appear on youtube or myspace. People using these web-sites can learn what you look like, but then, people can also learn that by meeting you. Most people do not need to be concerned about other people finding out what they look like. If, however, your particular video or myspace postings are of a controversial nature, and they are likely to make some people very angry with you, then yes, you might be better off if these angry people did not know what you look like.
By Not Making A Video
If your video file contains your face in the video, then you will have to edit the video using a video editor before uploading your video to YouTube. YouTube does not provide any video editing software to users to edit their video content other then replacing music and adding branding and annotations.

You would have to use a video editing software to do that. If you don't have that sort of software, the YouTube Video Editor built into the YouTube website now has a blur tool which is very effective at blurring moving objects.
