sorry, but it is completely legal to not hire someone for not understanding their accent or speech if that is what you're asking... the employer has a right to deny a job to anyone, for any reason. unless however their is discrimination involved. But still, the employer way have believed that with him or her not being able to understand you, that the customer woul not have been able to resulting as being a liability in the financial part and the reputation of the business.
