: If you have the V8 or a V6 it is the same the water pump should be right in front. To take it out just take off your radiator and disconnect the hoses that go to your radiator and to the water pump.Then there are like four of five bolts holding the pump on just remove those and make sure that you take off the old gaskets and clean off all the cilcone left over from taking off the gaskets. Finally you put some cilcone on the new gaskets and puthe water pump back on and reconnect all the hoses.If you have an aftermarket intake you will most likely have to take that off to get the radiator off. All Z28 from 93 to 97 have the LT1 5.7L. No reason to remove radiator. Drain coolant and discard properly. Remove air intake elbow. Remove coil and ICM assembly. Remove 6 14mm bolts securing water pump to engine. Clean mating surfaces of all old gasket material. Use silicone on both sides of gaskets and place on engine alignment pins. Install bolts, the two short ones go at 3 and 9 o'clock. The four long ones are interchangeable. Ensure use of high temp thread sealer on all bolts. Fill coolant system with 50/50 mix of coolant and clean water. Make sure to bleed system to purge all air. All the while you're doing this, make SURE not to wet your OPTISPARK (Distibutor on front on engine below water pump).
