-sigh- all these one word answers make me angry.... anyhow Yes it is illegal to marry a minor without parental consent but it is not illegal to transport cross state lines so long as they are age of consent and can legally move out, Title 18, chapter 117, section 2423 states; Transportation With Intent To Engage in Criminal Sexual Activity.--- A person who knowingly transports an individual who has not attained the age of 18 years in interstate or foreign commerce, or in any commonwealth, territory or possession of the United States, with intent that the individual engage in prostitution, or in any sexual activity for which any person can be charged with a criminal offense, shall be fined under this title and imprisoned not less than 10 years or for life. so long as ya don't commit a criminal offense it is perfectly legal.

Is it illegal for a 25 or 26 year old male to take a 15 or 16 year old female across state lines in Iowa without parents consent?
Yes, because she is a minor it would be considered kidnapping. Response : I posted the question, and we have already contacted the police and they are looking into the code, but evidently it is NOT considered kidnapping because it was not against her will. If you are sixteen and pregnant and do not have parent permission to marry your eighteen year old boyfriend is there a state where they will marry you?
You need to be worried about the laws of your state. Boyfriend can't take you to another state to get married. First, it's illegal to take a minor across state lines without parental permission. Second, even if it wasn't, you couldn't get married anyway, because you're a minor without parental permission who is not a resident of their state.
Not technically, if they're under the age of 17 yes it is highly illegal ANYWHERE. So long as the person is 17 it is legal, Title 18, chapter 117, section 2423 and 2422 of the criminal code state; . So long as age of consent is proportional to the ones age your not taking part in a criminal offense so yes it is legal, its just nice to let the parents know.
yep, your not supposed to. In an intersection such as a stoplight it is illegal and you can get a ticket for illegal lane change. There is nothing "not supposed to" about it. Crossing a single white line between lanes traveling in the same direction as your travel is discouraged but not illegal. Furthermore, where have ever seen an intersection, with a traffic light, or stop light for that matter, that has painted lines of…

What law protects a private prisoner transport company carrying loaded unconcealed firearms in the performance of their duties across state lines Do they just need a carry permit from their home state?

As soon as the minor's parents contacted authorities the adult and the minor would be taken into custody when located in Colorado (or any state) or upon their return to Nebraska.
