Please ignore the person above of me as he has no clue to what this question is asking...
Anyways, it is said that seeing a black cat during the night (or something like that) is a bad luck charm.
No. There are superstitions about black cats being bad luck, but these are in the same family of superstitions like "If you step on a crack you break your mother's back."
Black cats are lovely additions to any family, and are often hard to adopt from shelters because of these superstitions.
I have a black cat who is very lucky (and spoiled!).
