Yes, many couples do test their relationship that way. Most remain together, and some others decide that it would be better to remain apart, or just friends.
If you have feelings for your ex, but are in a relationship, i suggest you break up with your current girlfriend/boyfriend, and see if your ex still has feelings....
The feelings you have for your girlfriend should be strong. If you don't have these feelings you need to break up. There is someone for everyone.
She probably had a boyfriend in mind and did not know how to break up with you without hurting your feelings.
what you can do is become friends with the person and when they break up with their boyfriend/girlfriend you can comfort them and then express your feelings
Of course
No but he has a boyfriend!! Sorry to break it to you sweety!! :)
Break up with him now!
what the boyfriend thinks he feels is probably true. those feelings will only get stronger. getting back together is a bad idea......total dead end relationship that will end badly. And if he doesn't think he loves his girlfriend he never loved her in the first place.
I would advise you to talk to your ex about it first and see how she feels. If she doesn't feel the same way, then go back to your girlfriend or boyfriend, or depending on how strong your feelings, it would be best to break up with your girlfriend or boyfriend, anyways.
Since he is in a new relationship, you should just leave it alone and try to move on yourself. If at any point he does break up with his current girlfriend, you could have a talk with him and see if he wants to try again. But currently, you should keep your feelings to yourself.
Break up.
You can't convince him not to break up with you, it's his decision and his feelings.
