Some women experience a "crampy" feeling in their vagina during pregnancy, this can be caused by the increased blood flow to the area. Some pressure is also normal during pregnancy due to the weight of the uterus and a dull ache can be caused by stretching and relaxing of the ligaments.
Any pain in the vagina or pelvic area could be sign of an infection and should be discussed with your doctor or midwife, just to be safe.

∙ 14y agoI actually had that problem last night, and according to the nurse I talked to at my Doctors office it is normal. They say with your cervix being so sensitive it can cause bleeding. I was informed that it is okay as long as the bleeding slows down and stops.

∙ 12y agoIt's probably from the extra blood flowing to your vagina which makes it extra sensitive, if it hurts you should hold off on sex.
normally it helps the baby be conceived quicker but if it starts hurting, hold off on the sex for a little while
