You can cramp in the first trimester and not miscarry. Miscarriage is more often associated with cramping and bleeding, so if you have both then you have more cause to worry. One without the other is less serious, usually. As always, if you are concerned ask your doctor/midwife.

It is ushually depends on your health status ,but if you have it for more than about 2-3 days than i would see a doctor.

I currently have a hematoma in the womb which is very large. I have lots of cramping and pain and it feels alot like bad period pains most of the time.

if your stomach is cramping real bad you could either be pregnant or drank too much but either way i suggest you go see a doctor and get it checked out

This all looks quite normal at the moment. The cramping is probably just because the uterus is growing rapidly at this time.

it's normal to have cramping in pregnancy. most of the time it's from the uterus stretching. but if it gets really painful or you start to spot and or bleed than i would call your doctor cause it could be something bad and or pre term labor.

It is not bad it is called lactating. It is normal if you are pregnant.

During pregnancy you have aches, pains and cramping, but, it is extremely important that you visit your doctor with cramping. Don't panic! Your doctor is there to help you, so you should always go see him/her if you experience anything that worries you as you don't need stress while pregnant. It's probably nothing, but it will put your mind at rest. Remember, this is your baby and you want all the care you can get. We aren't doctors on this board so I, for one, will not try to diagnose your cramping. Marcy

You could be or your period is just delayed. Do a test to find out.

Yes it is...I was pregnant last year. I had a period onn October 2nd...wasnt hardly any blood...but cramping was hurting more than usual...i ended up being 9 and a half weeks when i found out. I had gotten pregnant 3 days before that period came.

If you are having sex there is always a chance you could be pregnant. Cramping and headaches can be associated with ovulation which occurs approximatly 2 weeks before your next period or half way through your normal cycle. Asking your Physician is always important.

Not bad at all because you shouldn't really have any many symptoms, if any

i don't think so-- if you having pain or cramping feeling you should go to your doctor asap..i wish nothing bad happen good luck

There is such a wide range of normal that I would not worry unless the cramps are really bad and/or you have bleeding.

Having cramping is normal my doctor told me, im 8weeks almost nine and i still get very very bad cramping. The cramping is due to stretching of the uterus so the baby can grow! However if there is bleeding you should immediatley go to the hospital, because that is a sign of a miscarriage..best of luck to u.

the symptoms of being pregnant even if you have your period are tenderness, pain and swelling in your breast which is absolutley awful then you have very bad cramping in your lower abdomen and you dont bleed as much as you would if you were doing a normal cycle and you get to pee a lot so if you are congrats but Good Luck :)

It is never normal for a pregnant woman to black out with dizziness and cramping. There are many medical reasons for these symptoms to occur and all of them need urgent attention from your health care provider. It is strongly urged that you seek medical attention immediately. Best wishes.

if your on your period then its just a normal thing but if your not then you need to go to the doctor

I would say that very bad cramping could be a sign of miscarriage. That's what happened to me around 5 weeks. My breasts were initially sore but within 12 hours of the miscarriage starting, my pregnancy symptoms went away, including the sore breasts. Check with your doctor though!

you body is going through a lot a this time, so if there no bleeding or bad cramping you ok i had that with my son i was 5months or more cause he constantly move around in my stomach

You should go to the ER or your doctor ASAP. Cramping in early pregnancy is very normal because everything is stretching out, but it shouldn't be bad cramps and with the severe lower back pain that could mean you are having a miscarriage. Please go to the ER or your doctor ASAP

Only if they are very bad. Cramps after/during a miscarriage are normal

you could be pregnant or your period could be thrown off for whatever reason. I have had that happen to me recently I was cramping it was not bad and then boom there it was late but it was there
